I write. About a lot of things. Sometimes it’s corporate copywriting for organisations that want me to breathe life into dull subjects. I also write personal essays, features, experimental creative non-fiction and harder news journalism. But I’m especially passionate about climate change action, social issues and health. On the lighter side I enjoy the unusual: like cumquats and why dolphins are creepy.
I have previously been a regular writer for SBS and The Big Issue. I have been published in Junkee, Daily Life, Meanjin, Going Down Swinging, Broadsheet, AWOL, Concrete Playground and more.
I also write personal pieces on my blog, which range from travel pieces to unpacking school-yard memories.
Feel free to put your feet up, have a cuppa and explore my site. This is just a sample of some of my work.
I also accept story ideas and welcome your press releases - although I may not respond to all emails.
Contact me if you have an idea. I might just write about it.
