Across the pond.
A zine about travelling in Europe.
Two Australians go across the pond. They (unwillingly) meet a vodka-swilling Austrian man who’s about to go on a date. They see a famous Irish loner dolphin that the locals replicate into a booming business of dolphin earrings and postcards. Share dorms with enthusiastic bad-karaoke singing Americans and the newly dumped. Hang out with a chiropractor in Bangkok airport and start seeing the world through his crooked spine eyes.
This is a travel zine about being another Aussie in Europe trying to work out what’s left to discover that Starbucks hasn’t already.
It is 6,000 word with a loose beginning, middle and end with a rather unreliable narrator.
These are made fresh to order by a very newbie zine-maker.
Prices —- $5 AUD for Australia-wide postage and $10 AUD for those living in international destinations.
